We recommend all Vespa Pilots with large crankcases (for example PK XL/PX/T5) to use HP4 Flywheels: simply exchange it (Flywheel extractor see page 100). Your motor will respond accordingly - there’s a 2/3 weight reduction, instead of 3000g, only 1000g leaning on the crankshaft.... Through the notable weight loss the motor charges through, hangs better on gas and reaches higher rpms. Negative karma like torque problems or standgas don’t exist, instead a hefty tuning effect turns your wheels to higher realms.
Similar to the HP4 Flywheel is the PINASCO Carbon - Flywheel, which weighs in at 1800g. For those who find the HP4 too light and the original too heavy. Use only for racing.
